Biography
Vera Futorjanski is the CEO of Veritas Ventures and Beyond, a serial entrepreneur, angel investor, and LP in a VC Fund in Africa. She is also an acclaimed international keynote speaker and moderator. Vera’s extensive professional background includes working with the Venture Capital firm 500Global, where she led their Middle East operations. Prior to that, she was a core team member at the Dubai Future Foundation, contributing to various innovation projects in the Prime Ministers’ Office of the United Arab Emirates.
In addition to her entrepreneurial pursuits, Vera actively participates in influential organizations and initiatives. She is part of the Expert Group on Digital Platforms and Ecosystems for the World Economic Forum, an Innovation Expert at the UN, and a Responsible Leader at the BMW Foundation. She holds advisory roles with the IBM accelerator and mentors aspiring entrepreneurs through renowned global accelerators and incubators like Techstars, Respond, e7, and others.
Vera has lived in 10 countries and is fluent in five languages. She studied political science at the London School of Economics (LSE).
