Biography
Jose Manuel Almuzara is the Director at Almuzara Architects and has been the president of the Gaudí Asociación Pro Beatificación de Antoni Gaudí since June 1992. This civil association works towards the beatification of Antoni Gaudí, promoting both his spiritual and artistic facets. The association played a significant role in the canonical process for Gaudí’s beatification, which started in April 2000 and concluded in May 2003. On 9 July 2003, the process for declaring Gaudí a saint officially began.
For over 19 years, Jose Manuel Almuzara has participated in numerous events, both independently and with other members of the Asociación. He has published pamphlets, leaflets, reports, and books on Antoni Gaudí, focusing on his artistic, human, and spiritual facets. These publications were produced in collaboration with the Real Cátedra de Gaudí, the Diocesan Archive in Barcelona, and the Claret publishing house.
