Josep Padró i Margó is a historian and educator specializing in the history of Colònia Güell. Currently, he holds the position of a school teacher and teacher of geography and history in secondary education.
Josep Padró i Margó is deeply connected to the cultural and neighborhood movement of Santa Coloma de Cervelló, particularly in Colonia Güell. He has extensively studied the history of this urban center and has published research papers on its origins, the collectivization during the Civil War, the Franco regime, and the Ateneu Unió. He is actively involved with the Baix Llobregat Center for Regional Studies, participating in organizing exhibitions such as “The Roar of Industry,” which focused on the industrialization of the region.
In addition to his research and community involvement, Josep has published social science textbooks, workbooks, and didactic guides on various regions, including Baix Llobregat, the Ebro delta, and Pallars Sobirà.
